I think FaceBook is annoying in itself. Who cares if someone ate fucking waffles for breakfast?

The Sympathy-Baiter

I don't do Facebook but whenever I go to the official Journey site, the comment margin on the righthand side always has at least one of those "Woe Is Me" one liners.

Nah, I think some people just share too much info.

Chicken with waffles could suggest a light night trip to Roscoe's after some heavy partying.

Irrelevant, I know.

Chronic notetaggers (3 in a day, c'mon!)
Quiz addicts (I'm guilty on slow days at work)
Redundant status updates (no one gives a shit if you're 'watchin sum tv, then bed, work in the am, then off to partayyy hit up my cell' you need to join the rest of us in 2009)
Those people who daily post something about their life being worse than yours.
...and my Mom :P

Who ever wrote that article is worse than all those points put together, what a weirdo... too much time on their hands, and to me they are obviously the worst of the bunch, yawn!,

Good lord, yes, the people who BORE me with their statuses. Ok, I post a boring one from time to time, but I got this one friend (who quite honestly has really not much going on in her life) where every status is something like "waiting for coffee to brew" or "my neck hurts" or "I wish my headache would go away". Those are real updates I've seen. She's the "Curmudgeon" type from that article. Nothing going on so she just gripes about stuff.

I have another friend who is both the sympathy-baiter and the maddening obscurist (Rhi knows who I mean...lol... and no, it's no one here). I love this girl like a sister but her statuses drive me batty.

I'm a little of all of 'em, except the Bad Grammarian, Inviter, and Lurker.

Also I hope you all know that every time you do one of those quizzes or other apps you're agreeing to send all of your Facebook info to whatever shady person created the quiz. So, not only are they annoying to everyone else, god knows who has your privacy.

I answered no to every question in that quiz in the article. I keep in touch with my 13 yr. old niece mostly through it and a few old school chums. I'm just not that into it I guess. Except for the quizzes. I think those are funny but I don't invite others to do them. :?

I do the quizzes but I never send them to anyone. I just publish the results and if someone else wants to take it they can...

Boy you ain't kidding. The stupidest shit known alive except MySpace and that's even more stupid. Wait, there's even one more thing more stupid than Facebook- Farm Town, a FB game no less. "Hey, let's go cultivate raspberries and lemons! Yeah! "

Again, ridiculous shit to say the least.

You lazy fucks are lucky I am not your boss. I would pull up all your computer activity- MR, FBV, MySpace, etc. I would fire all your asses. Do any of you slackzits even work?

I run my company, Deano. I can do whatever the fuck I want, whenever the fuck I want. And I don't care that I keep a web browser open while I work. It's multi-tasking. And business is growing in profit. So I don't think I'm in any danger here.

Do I even work? No. That's why I'm here 6-days per week 9-10 hours per day, have a macbook chained to me to work from home, a cell phone with a memory full of work emails, and no social life because I'm too busy being successful in my career.

Don't think I could have taken over this business before my 24th birthday if I were sitting here ONLY jacking off on the webs.

Lazy fucks. Try again. That was a valiant effort, though.

That is exactly why I don't get the hype of twitter. Isn't that it's entire purpose: To post mundane, routine things about your every waking moment?

"Hey, everyone, I opened up a new tube of toothpaste today" --- WOW WEE!!!!

stop following mundane people. don't encourage mundane posts. it took a while for me to filter through the noise, but i've found some musicians, artists & tech geeks who post things that are really entertaining & informative.

i was actually scolded by my boss the other day for NOT spending enough time exploring twitter. :?

Nope, Rhi, you are anything but mundane. Problem is I still can't follow you. I'd need a dictionary, thesaurus, a set of Encyclopedia's & a fully versed staff of assistants to help me figure out what you're saying. You talk way over my head, little one..... (& I do mean that in a good way.)

Yes, but when you take those quizzes you are agreeing to let the application creator/admins see (and make use of) your full info.

I'm usually not one to put on the tinfoil hat regarding Facebook, but apps are so shady.
