I've never been there either, but I'll be there for Journey. I think Crazy Debbie & DrFU (Linda) will be there as well.

I'll be doing Beaumont as well.

Do y'all have your seats already, and are they together? I am heading there since its only an hour from my door...but think it would be great to meet up somewhere before the show, or at the show!??!

I'm doing ILAA so I'll be within the first 5 rows or so. Meeting up before, during or after sounds cool.

Anyone that ends up hanging out with me, Debbie & Linda, always has a good time. It's automatic.

Waffles/pancakes past midnight has become a tradition with us, by the way.

Haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, Ken, but I can certainly vouch for the other two. Awesome gals.

I do too Lula. Those were some good days. I remember picking you up at the airport here in Houston in the Lotus and driving you up to the Woodlands. On the way up there I surprised you with a backstage pass for your 40th birthday. Journey ended up singing Happy Birthday to you backstage. Debbie, I believe, bought you a birthday cake. I'll always remember good times like that. Planning and creating memories like that are what message boards were created for.

your right about debbie and the bday cake. give her a minute, she'll post pics ;). you also got your augeri mirror signed, if i remember correctly that brought something like 1500. for charity. that night in corpus was amazing. i remember just hanging out behind the table, quite tipsy, teasing neal as he was signing stuff. those days were made of fishnets.

good times to be sure!

I'm drawing a blank on Spiderman.

That flight from Houston to Corpus was EPIC! That was the best and funniest flight ever. We had every passenger and the flight attendants rolling in the aisles. OMG the Motel from Hell in Corpus. I was sitting in the back of that big van that Frank rented and everyone was talking about how their hotel rooms all smelled like ass. I piped up and said "I've never really felt like a part of this group. Because I'm the only one whose room didn't smell like ass". :P I thought Frank was gonna roll that damn van. Funny, funny stuff.

Yeah, When I pulled out the Augeri mirror backstage in Corpus, Neal yelled out "Holy Shit! Steve you've gotta write something more on there than just your name." So Steve wrote the lyrics to Butterfly on the frame and a cartoon of himself. Darryl & Jenny ended up paying over $1600 for that mirror. You started the bidding on it if I remember. The money ended up going to a charity that Steve was a part of called "Little Baby Face" in Long Island New York. I received a nice note from Steve and Lydia soon after that. I'll never forget how cool Steve is/was.

Yep, Deb & I are in ... doing ILAA 5 star, which means we have to be at the venue at 5:00, so probably no preshow get together. After the show, as Ken says, we've found out that pancake syrup sounds better than booze after singing and dancing through a four hour show. Katz's deli on 6th might be good; they are open 24 hours and it's a funky & fun Austin hangout.

I'm going--with or without my darling hub :) . I/we don't have tickets yet--will probably purchase next month... I will look for you all at the venue and if I find you all will holler. I'm totally looking forward to it!! Neal, how about a request night? Just one song--take one request from the audience--interact/talk with the crowd? Maybe that is too radical. Just tossing it out there anyway... :)
