Journey Rocks the Early Show on CBS 7 a.m.
Also, it isn't live........ It was taped last week to air Friday, and now moved back to Thursday.
My DVR is set to record...........

I will be up an hour earlier than usual then.
I've already seen the Youtubes, but this will look and sound better for sure. Now I'd better get my butt to bed!

Watching it now....we will see what I think
Well they just did the lead in for the Journey concert and the woman hostess of the show says they were looking for someone to replace Steve Perry for two years...then they found a club singer on Youtube and he sounded exactly like Perry and that was it
Neal must love that kind of intro!!!!

It just further illustrates the point that after almost 15 years and 27 lead singers, it's still Perry that Neal is trying to "replace". Good luck with that, Schon!

It bugs me that the media has kind of thrown Augeri under the bus like he was never in the band. When they do cover him he only gets a passing 5 second reference.

That's because he is still under the bus that they threw him under......

Am I the only one who noticed Arnel said "Put" the midnight train going anywhere in the first verse of DSB? I played it 10 times, and he clearly isn't saying "took". Maybe he's tired. I must admit that I'm not nearly as impressed with Arnel (I still think he is a FAR better fit for Journey material than Augeri or Soto ever were) as I have been on previous occasions that I've listened to him live. I guess to be fair, it's early in the morning, but his voice sounds a bit flat to me.
