There is none like Mr Perry. I love and respect the mans voice. I have been listening to him sing since I was 10 years old and I would walk 1000 miles to see him sing coke jingles! I respect all of the guys out there with the guts to sing his stuff. Wishing you all the best!

wow...Now I've heard both sides of the Steve Perry sound alikes, one with a bit too much vibrato and the singer for this band who seems to have no vibrato at all. Very strange to hear Journey without any vocal vibrato. He has the tone, some of the phrasing, but the lack of a soft vibrato makes the lead vocal sound a bit stale. But for a weekend warrior Journey tribute, these guys sound pretty good!

thanks Tex I'm happy to be weekend warrior steve Perry sound alike. Last time I was here on the forum you mentioned my vibrato and I have worked on it. The studio recordings are a bit old but the live video is new. In it you should here my improved vibrato. I took you advice and got some help with it. But honestly cut us sound alikes a bit of slack. I know I'm doing everything I can to honor Steve. I love their music and consider myself lucky to be able to put o. Coat tails and sing these songs. I'm living my dream and having a blast!

Thanks again!

thanks man! Yeah your right you need to be ready to feel like you are running the whole night. I have added a lot of cardio to my workouts just to make sure I'm there! But I will tell you there isn't anything in the world like being on stage in front of a crowd of Journey fans listening to them sing along to don't stop believin. It's amazing.

Thanks again for your kind words.
