Need help figuring out band's name.

I got an obscure song from the mid-ninetiess stuck
in my brain... but I can't think of who the hell sang it!!!
The song was titled, I think, "Kalifornia"...
I can still play it, it's typical grunge drop-d...
The first verse starts out, "Lonely... Let down..."but I can't remeber much more.
I think the chorus starts out, "Kalifornia for the night..."
The album cover (I once owned the cd) had a world war II era
plane painting on it and I THINK the bands name had something
to do with the plane or the plane's nick-name...
