I remember these from the 70s--great shows--the stereo just stayed at high volume all day when these shows were on, lol... Here is Journey with "Love Hurts" and another of "Anytime" (really like this version):

I have Opened the Door on my IPod and I think it came from a King Biscuit Flour Hour show but I'm not sure... It may have been Comiskey Park I guess. I downloaded it from MR; does anyone remember that? It's one of my favorites...

P.S. Perry sounds great on this song; As much as I like Arnel, I can't imagine him ever doing a cover of something like this:

As many of you probably know, a lot of the King Biscuit Flour Hour shows are available on CD. I picked up a Billy Squier show from 1983 off of Amazon just the other day. A nice mix of Emotions in Motion and Don't Say No tracks on there.

I have a ton of them, most of which I received from a publicist during the initial launch of the KBFH CD series years ago, when I was a working music scribe.

My pride and joy from that series is the headlining performance by Britain's Uriah Heep, from my very first rock concert way back in February 1974 at the San Diego Sports Arena, a show that also included Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher and Manfred Mann's Earth Band (tickets: six bucks!). A nice souvenir of my first of over 2,000 concerts.
