Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I just posted the last song I've written for the album on myspace tonight! I think we're finally done with the writing. We have 12 completed songs for the album, and have at least 4 other songs completed that may surface later. One song may be recorded as electric AND acoustic, bringing our total to 13 songs.

This new song is one of my older songs called "I'm Not Ready". I recorded it several years ago, and had no intention on using it until Alex and I worked on it a few days ago. I think this song may be our best ballad on the album, and I can't wait to hear some feedback on this one! I think my Journey influences shine through pretty bright on this one. Let us know what you think. Check it out at www.myspace.com/jimrykbost Thanks,

I posted this down here for the Journey fans, because I think this is DEFINITELY in the vein of Journey!

Don't make me hurt you Steve... you know I'm trained. I know 106 ways to incapacitate someone with a pencil, and that's without even using the eraser... Don't make me bust out my son's bookbag!

Though I'm a fan of all of the songs on your myspace atm.. I definitely think that you need to add quite a few more heavier songs.

True.

Though I'm quite sure that with 2 guitarists and a kick ass drummer they will sound heavier already. Just let those guys go wild.

I agree with BOTH of you! And like Michael said... with 2 guitarists, live kicking drums AND some thumpin' bass lines, these songs will all get an added boost. I'm sure several of these songs will change quite a bit on the final recordings. Some of these that you hear are songs I wrote YEARS ago. Times change, and I've changed as a musician since I first wrote some of these. I may change some arrangements, and I think there's at least 1 song that will be recorded in two versions... 1 acoustic, and 1 electric. That's going to change things up a lot!

Thanks again to everyone who checked it out, and we really appreciate the feedback and support we get here.
