This just in... Jerry Jones has bought Journey. Plans are being drawn to build a new billion dollar arena in the Bay Area, complete with state of the art video, where Journey's legacy will live on forever.

Damn that crazy Arkansas oil man!

If Cain left the band it would definitely be of his own volition.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out in 6 months that Cain's pulled up stakes and moved to Nashville to focus on Madison's career and get off the road for a bit. Truth be told, I'd be very surprised if that happened, and I'd be even more surprised if Gregg was to rejoin the band. Not that anything I guess is surprising with this band.

Well, I for one don't want Cain to leave. In fact, I've always been vocal about having both Cain & Rolie in the band at the same time...even if only for the studio or to tour.

Having said that, perhaps - JUST PERHAPS - if Cain were to be on the way out & Rolie to be on the way back in, then could that be a step toward staging the return of Perry? ...especially doing this toward the end of the current tour?

(Again, just giving the proverbial stir of the ubiquitous pot. Ha.)

Look back through the lyrics of the latest album. Maybe there's more meaning to 'Revelation' than we thought. Don't call it conspiracy theory...just call it 'discovery after the fact'. Who knows?

I don't think this could be further from the truth! I know you're just throwing this theory out there as a "What if", but Perry got along with Cain much better than he did with Gregg, and I also don't see Gregg willing to get up there with Perry. I could certainly be wrong, but I think Perry would get up there with Cain before he'd jump up there with Gregg (Who left the band BECAUSE of Perry). Who knows, but I just don't see that happening.

Maybe Cain's just being a good sport, and he's letting Gregg jump up there for a few songs! I don't see Gregg busting out "Separate Ways"!!!

This interview states otherwise Jim. He enjoyed singing with Perry and he left after 14 years of being on the road to start his family.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they're finally exploring the idea of Journey being a six piece.
And yes, in some sort of fashion, Perry will eventually be back...'if only for a moment, girl'.

I'm sure we'll get a review from Deb or Linda. What a birthday present for Deb!
