Who else is heading to Wal-Mart today??? I'm going out of town for a few days today, so I probably won't get to watch it for a while. Oh well... It'll give me something to be excited about when I get home!

Im about to go out the door right now to get it. Can't wait to be able to watch it tonight.

I tried yesterday and even early this morning. They definitely don't have new stock out bright and early on release day here. Actually, every time I've gone to Wal Mart looking for something the day it was supposed to be released, I've either had to go to several stores or have an employee check stock in the back. I'm passing one in a few minutes and will try again.

Those BASTARDS!!! I'm going to try today, and if they don't have it... something BAD is going to happen.

It gets worse here... I did get lucky enough to run into the lady that arranges the music displays -- they use a 3rd party company called Anderson to do those. She said she handles 4 stores here and hasn't seen that in any of the boxes yet, and that new product is placed out each Tuesday. Also said they normally would have displays out to advertise it (like they do the Foreigner disc). I hope someone gets luckier than I did, but maybe just having it available for sale on the website today doesn't mean it hits the shelves. I really wish I'd pre-ordered now, because a friend got a confirmation yesterday that hers had shipped already.

Well im headed out this afternoon to see if the Walmart here in Michigan has the dvd. All I can say is they better! Does anyone know if its going to be sold through Sams Club also??? Thats where I bought my revelation cd and they had tons of them for the first few months after its release. If you cant find it at walmart, you may want to try Sams for the heck of it.

Those fuckers didnt have it out and the lady in the electronics section was clueless. It better be out later or I'm gonna go nuts on that place. I want to watch that fucker tonight

Well, it looks like someone in Texas got it this morning early. Wasn't out on shelves yet but had it in the store.

Ok, she was super-nice and helpful, and checked directly with the merchandising team. She gave me a list of 5 stores close to me that they show should have the product, but advised me to check first. She said with most products, they can actually do a product lookup from her location and give exact answers on availability, but this particular item was "vendor managed" (handled thru Anderson here), so they don't have realtime information.

Being me, of course I asked the same question 5 different ways... LOL. She did say that the availability date of products on the website doesn't guarantee it will be in stores that day.

I'll continue checking here, and am interested in what everyone else finds. Happy hunting!

Hey, people SHOULD be laughing because it is silly. It's not even really that I have to have it today. I just want it and it's fun trying to get it, like a scavenger hunt. My "id" is out of control right now. Can ya tell I'm tired of working and ready for the weekend?

well, I just called my local Wallyworld because someone said someone in Texas had it all ready and I was curious if it was out here but the lady checked front and back for me and they don't have it yet.

100% agree.
Went through this w/ Foreigner on Tuesday and Revelation last year. Boils down to half-assed sloth on the part of those employees responsible for getting the new releases on the shelves.

I was told (north Salt Lake area) that because it is not a Tuesday release, it is delivered or processed differently and will be put up later today.

Well we have 6 walmarts here and I will be happy to go to each and everyone tonight after work if need be because I need to watch this TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told a very similar thing to what epoy was told. I tried both local walmarts in my area and they both said they have not stocked the shelves for the new shipment that came earlier this morning and it probably will be put on the shelves later today.
