Did Oprah even mention that Revelation was only available at Wal-Mart? They didn't even a play a new song, so I don't think promoting the album was a big priority.

They're about to go away until 2011. Hard to get a lot of momentum from this appearance. Tomorrow or the next day, most of the people watching the show will hear the original versions of DSB or Faithfully on the radio like they always do and it will be back to normal in regards to Journey.

I thought they should have played AATY or WDILYL instead of Faithfully but it is what it is.

Revelation actually got 2 plugs, while the Manila Dvd only got 1 at the top of the show.

Was it specified that Revelation was a Wal-Mart exclusive or have they finally been able to jump ship with it and offer it at other outlets?

NO, but they did mention Walmart for the Manila DVD.

At my local Wal-Mart, they have the DVD in the new music section at the top, with copies of Rev under it.

I'm thinking that is smart marketing.

What are the chances that the people buying it already own Revelation though?

Wouldn't that cut into sales? "Oh I can get this three disc set for the same price and it has a DVD also."

Our Walmarts are hit and miss. Over the last few months I've seen as few as zero Revelation CD's and as many as 5 at a time. When I went to pick up the Manila DVD there were two Revelation in stock. I have no idea how many they punched out, but it looks like production was stopped as the item is marked no longer available for order.

I think most will look at the Rev package as a CD more so than DVD .....

But I see what you mean.

I wish they would put out more since the WalMart website is OUT OF STOCK and many stores in this area are SOLD OUT

I still don't have it. I knew I should have driven to Elk Grove yesterday.

I also read somewhere with Rev that it was Assoff/Nomata pressing the copies not WalMart.
