Kudos to Walmart (I never thought I'd say this)

Today, thanks to my wife, I ended up in 3 different Walmarts because of something she was looking for. I got curious and wanted to see if the Journey Live in Manila DVDs were out and how they were being displayed. All 3 had them on top rack, prominently displayed on the new music display. Not only that but they had Revelation displayed on the new music rack also. Even when Revelation was first released it was still buried in with the older Journey CDs. One walmart even had the DVDs displayed on 3 different points. What gives and why do they suddenly care about displaying Journey? Was it because of Oprah?

I did research with how Wal-Mart works regarding cd's dvd's etc....

they don't.

A company called Anderson Merchandisers handles all the cd, dvd's and books for Wal-Mart. They decide what goes where etc....Everything is judged per store...

Well, somebody made sure they were properly displayed. That's better than they have been doing.

. . . . and the calls made to the WM HQ by the entire Filipino Community in the whole U.S. of A. when they could not find the DVD on display last Oct. 2. At one time, WM website has ran out of stock for two days when people turned to and opted for the hussle-free pre-ordering instead.

Well with Arnel on vox and the band on fire, it's Easy To Fall in love this video. Anytime someone Opened the Door to a new set of fans, like Oprah, who has a Positive Touch, then it might trigger a Chain Reaction. The exposure Oprah gave the band is a chance Of A Lifetime. For now, I will wait Patiently for the result.
