According to my breakfast television news blurb,Steve Perry played his first concert with Journey,in 1977.
That's gotta be worth a couple of celebratory pints.

On this date in Journey-istory....maybe the deception started?
Is this when Fleischman was ousted...by whatever means?
Perhaps, this is when the money making machine began with Perry, but would we be happy with the band as it was, or do we prefer what happened thereafter? I mean, it's sort of 'catch 22', no? We complain about all the crap that has gone on with the band, but we wouldn't be here to complain if it hadn't happened, no?
