Surely you are not watching that crap?

I recorded the first two weeks of the live shows.
Fast forwarded all the filler and was left with about 25 mins of 'singing.'
Every one of them off key and oversinging.
I only watched again the second week so I could give them a second chance.

Never again.

The show is a joke.
I won't waste another second on it.
And if I want to hear DSB. I'll listen to my CD.

This year has been particually poor, but it's become a staple with the girlfriend on a Saturday night!

It was supposedly a rock night, not much evidence of that to be honest.

Joe sang Don`t Stop Believin` nicely, a wimpy version but nice.

I don't think Simon Cowell would recognise a rock even if someone caved his head in with it.

The show is a bloody joke.

Have you ever seen it bb?
Honestly, it's a total crock.
I know American Idol has plenty of critics and a fair bit wrong with it, but compared to this show it's fantastic.

Just take a look at these two contestants. These two made it to the top twelve and are STILL in the show and have not yet been in the sing off.

This one was on Halloween!

and as if that wasn't scary enough, on Halloween we also got this on British tv -

I think it's time they retired.

Susie - what happened to that Danyl Johnson guy that Simon was so crazy about? I saw a YouTube of him and he sounded not too bad. Other than that I've never seen the show.

He's taken a real critical beating from the other judges and the other contestants.

He was outed as bisexual on the show.
The papers have been saying he is the most hated contestant on a talent show ever and the other judges and contestants are saying he is bigheaded and cocky.

So, on last week's show he came out and sang as if he was a whipped puppy.
The first part of his song was WAY off key and he looked really cowed. Then he hit stride and the next part of the song was better.

I'm not sure if his performance was an artful one or whether he has truly had his confidence crushed - you never know with these shows, they pull every trick in the book, and you bet I'm cynical! So I think it was calculated to make it look like he has had his confidence beaten out of him.

But here's his song last week so you can judge for yourself. He's still in the show. Last week he was in the sing off but this week he wasn't so maybe he got some sympathy votes.

X factor differs from AI in that each of the four judges acts as mentor for three acts from the final twelve. This means the judges are competitive with each other and even if they get crap acts they pull all sorts of tricks to make sure their acts stay in and other judges acts get voted out.

This year all artifice went out the window when the judge who has those twin boys in his group said to the audience and voters at home, "I want you to vote to keep the twins in the show even if its just to upset Simon."
And Simon has said he will leave the UK if the twins win.

You know what, if they do win it would serve him right. Let's see him market two guys who just CANNOT sing.

He's given us enough shit acts for a lifetime and his crappy winners have clogged up our airwaves and topped the Christmas charts for long enough now.

Its time we got artists who can actually SING.

And the Bee Gees...............who knows what went wrong. They recorded their vocals at the rehearsals and mimed to that recording on the live show. But I think they should retire. I really do.

Back to those twins, I have actually started laughing at them now.

I have actually stopped watching the show this year because it is so crap, but you just cannot escape it. the papers and magazines are full of it. Every time I switch on a tv they are showing clips from it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

What amazed me about the BeeGees is that they aren't embarrassed about it!

The twins are reported to be "singing" 'Ghostbusters' this week.

As much as I hate this shower of shit that is Xfactor. It has Got DSB to No.19 in the UK singles chart. Is that it's highest entry over here?

Yes.
It only made number 62 in 1982.
And the only other Journey hit here was Who's Cryin Now which made number 46 in the same year.

So it took Simon bloody Cowell to get Journey in the UK Top 20?

I don't believe it.
