You've just got to check this out. It's absolutely beautiful. Damn I wish Journey had recorded just one album with him, as this is pure quality and a taste of what could have been. Respect where it's due.

Brilliant! Never been one of the JSS faithful, but this is really good stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Journey made the right decision; because, if they had kept JSS we would have missed out on this wonderfully talented man and his individuality. If he had stayed with journey I feel the true JSS light would have never been allowed to shine, certainly not like it is with W.E.T " more power to you my brothers, LET'S ALL GET WET!!!

Disagree with WQ. Journey made the right decision. JSS with Journey did not work for me.
I think W.E.T. is great and the best JSS has been showcased re his talent. Maybe he needs to stay with these guys, as Sall and Martensson are great songwriters and wrote some beautiful songs.

I agree Jana Journey did make the right decision. Now W.E.T. is a great cd and Jeff should stay with these guys, seems like great chemistry between them.

Journey made the right decision to not have Jeff, but the wrong one to have Arnel.
Amazing song and amazing album here. Jeff was not the voice for Journey, but Neal could certainly follow this blueprint when he finally gets around to making that alleged rocker album he claims to be making with Journey

That's your's and a handful of people on MR's opinon, which is all it is, which is fine. The results don't lie. They made the right decision and he's the best they've had post Perry. If the band wasn't happy he'd be gone.

I wonder how long Jeff had to stand out in the rain to get this music video shot?
He looks nice W.E.T.
I like the soaring vocals later in the song. Very nice all around. I think that is his best video by far.

The song was pretty damn mediocre. Good drumming, awful solo, though some nice vocals. It was, without a doubt, the right choice to move on for Journey

I hear WalMart will soon offer "Good Taste" to buy for those with none. Isle 3 from $9.99 depending on how needy the recipient.

Interesting. Instantly with the opening guitar, I heard Prince, 'Purple Rain'.
Again, never cared for JSS, but he may have out done himself here.
Nice song.

Something else here after listening a few more times. I could see this song in a movie sound track.
This song almost sounds unfinished, like it's part of a greater score or concept. I can hear a part 1 building the story, and then flowing into this song with the lingering guitar. And maybe this song is just the bridge to a part 3. Hard to say exactly, I just hear a whole more that's not there.
In some ways, felt the same the first time I heard 'Walking Away From the Edge'.
later~

While I agree journey made the right choice, I would have loved to hear
Neal with JSS on material like this, very nice song, didnt care for the feel
they were going for in the solo.......but JSS sounds great...

Song never really comes together for me. I give it an incomplete. I really like If I Fall though.

I think One Day At A Time sounds a lot like Hysteria too, especially those open ringing chords in the verse
