Did Jon Cain write these?

If so, that man can write some decent country pop tunes (if you like that type of thing!)

There's nothing in country these days that interests me. Everytime I check a station, I can't even describe it, half good ol' boy stomp mixed with boy band beat.

Looks like they're all trying to copy the Brooks and Dunn formula and failing miserably. I don't know how they can even call that stuff country western music.

The one exception is the song "people are crazy" by I don't know who. He was on the awards the other night.

So when they put those 4 ol' timers against Taylor Swift it was obvious she was gonna take it. By a country mile.

To your Friga question, I haven't heard a single tune of hers.

While I digress off topic...I always thought Brooks and Dunn should have covered WYLAW. It would have been a number one hit. Seriously.

Modern country is basically Journey.

Jonathan is right in his element, if he is writing songs for Madison...."Where I Live" was a singer/songwriter type CD that fits right into the Nashville scene.

We saw Madison & Jon along with 2 other song writers in the round last Wed. night at the Bluebird Cafe here in Nashville. The Bluebird is a small venue which show cases artist, mostly song writers & singers.

She has an amazing voice and wrote most of her songs in conjunction with Jon and another major writer here. Liz Cain also co-wrote on one song and also a friend of Madison's co-wrote on a couple. Sorry I can't remember who did which songs  , but they were all very good.
