What time does this thing start? I mean, what time does it really start? The Ticketweb listing says 8 PM - 3 AM. Jeremy has a great voice, but even he can't sing for 7 hours. I'm trying to plan with some friends but they're not going to be overly elated if we got there at 8 and it wasn't starting until 10 or so (especially since there's football going on tonight).

Jeremey usually goes on around 9:30, 10 when his show starts at 8 here, they always have the same opener here.

We go on about 1030 tonight! There's an acoustic opener.

No problem man! We blew out a trailer tire between Louisiana and Nashville so we'll be getting there about 8 pm ourselves.

I did...you guys sounded fucking killer, even with the tracked keys. Sorry it was such a lame venue/night...wanted to stay and chat a bit but we had to head out after "Any Way You Want It" to meet up with a friend for their birthday. (Also, admittedly, was a little embarrassed for my town...you guys deserve better) Although it did remind both of us why we rarely, if ever, end up downtown...people (mostly tourists) tend to jump from place to place all night, it's tough to get a lasting crowd down there.

I'm not sure if you or an agent does your booking, but there are some great places to play here outside of the immediate downtown area....I'm sorry we didn't get to chat, but hopefully it won't be the last time I get to make it to a Frontiers gig.

Thanks bro, too bad we couldn't meet up!

Was an all out clusterfuck from a gig standpoint, between getting the flat tire outside Memphis and being 90 minutes late to having the house engineer know nothing about their house board and finally deciding to use our monitor rig to mix front of house....It was an interesting evening to say the least!

That being said, 2nd Ave Live seems to have a lot of potential as a venue. We work regularly with the owner's venue in Grand Rapids (Intersection), a well established national room, and I hope that 2nd Ave Live builds up to that same sort of reputation.

We will return the first weekend in March so hope to see you again then!

Whoa....weird that it's the same guy that owns Intersection, I went there a few times years ago when I lived in MI. Kinda random to open a venue in Nashville, but I suppose that's a good connection for you guys. I'm not sure 2nd Ave has the same potential....it isn't much of a rock venue with the stage being barely a foot off the ground...it's not really a place that would come to mind when I'm thinking of where I'd like to ROCK. (then again, not much of downtown is)

It'll be interesting to see what happens...i'm glad there's somewhere down there that will book non-country acts, at least. Unless a gig or something comes up before then, I'm sure I'll be there in March. Let me know if you need any help with anything. :)
