The Glee cast's rendition of the song has reached 500,000 downloads and been awarded Gold status by the RIAA on Oct. 13.
No surprise that Sony is the beneficiary here.

It blows. For a show that is supposed to be about singing and a glee club to rely so heavily on pitch correction software is ridiculous. I don't care if it's the industry standard, it sucks.
Nice vocal arrangement, horrible production.

Teach the actors or the ones recording the parts to sing on pitch or go home. Sounds like little robots.

It may blow but the YOUNGER masses love it. 113,000 CDs moved it's first week of release, with an additional 2.5 million individual track downloads.

yeah, the masses love that Adam Lambert trash too... Doesn't mean it's good.

The Masses are Asses.

Seeing as Sony is in the mix on this, I wonder if Anyway You Want It is going to make an appearance. Volume 2 is already in the works.

Nah I think it'll be Ross's "Gone Crazy".

Probably why Azoff shelved the band for a year, so people wouldn't get burnt out on the over exposure. if the Glee version gets a lot of Airplay, I wonder if the public will finally tire of it.

Actually, they should do this. People are going to get SO sick of that song. When you say Airplay, has anybody heard this on the radio? I sure haven't, but Seattle radio blows hard.

I don't know if it has gotten radio play or not. With the amount of downloads, I wonder how it is still getting exposure, besides the fact that FOX has the clip on their website.
