Nice interviews with these guys. Learned about Carmine Appice back in the 70s with Rod Stewart. (Btw, I always thought that DC kinda had the Appice look going for awhile a few yrs ago.) Then went back further and got into Vanilla Fudge. CA is one of music's all time greatest drummers for sure.

Gregg Rolie talked about doing the Journey show for the first time in 30 yrs. Interesting, when they decided not to do the one song, they say "We'll do it next time." Wonder when that next time will be? Wouldn't surprise me one bit if we see Schon & Rolie doing something again a whole lot sooner than 'next time'. Ya know, it only took NS playing with JSS at that NAMM show one night to get him interested and build Soul Sirkus. Maybe this one song with Rolie was enough again to re-ignite the Abraxas Pool or some new thing interest. We'll see.

later~

It also explains why Gregg sang with Deen instead of Arnel.

WOULD LOVE a ROLIE/SCHON collaberation... the chemistry in music these two shared...
