I like some of their songs, but haven't really followed them.
But you can't go, anyway, b/c you hate Journey.![]()

I would do this tour!! STYX and KANSAS... with Journey... Journey does need the package...
especially if they want to do arenas...
otherwise... with economy the way it is, it would not be a money maker for the promotional guys...
journey might do well in some regions but not all regions of the usa...

Nah, no way. Journey doesnt need to do the package deal. They were selling out many arenas when they just toured with heart in a crappy economy. I live in Michigan, the state that has the highest unemployment rate and they nearly sold out Van Andel arena which seats 12,000. They have already proven they dont need to take a step backwards and do the triple package stuff again. Thats for reo, styx..etc. There popularity is WAY up.
I think it would be cool if Journey teamed up with Chicago or Foreigner.

Isn't that the very definition of a package? Heart isn't simply an opening act, so them (or a comparable band) on the bill makes it a package. I agree with you that their popularity is up, but they WILL NOT be booked into amphitheaters or arenas by themselves. Bring along another band or two to make it a great value night of music. That's how you bring people into the seats.
