When Assoff and Neal decide they need another paycheck, prolly in 2012 or so, there might once again be a Journey. LOL
Well, Arnel seems pretty happy doing his cover gigs, Cain has his daughter's career to keep him busy and Neal, who has never done a solo tour from what I recall has about 30 years of music to finally get out there to live audiences. Journey will be back but with the continuous erosion of CD sales, don't expect them to top Revelation's sales or anything like that when they hit the stage again. Neal mentioned before that the days of big tours like they did in 2008 were pretty much over for the band. With the way Arnel's contract is worded regarding performing consecutive shows, it would seem highly unlikely for them to replicate that touring schedule anyway.
They rode Pineda hard during that initial tour and he was spent to the point where they had to cancel the autumn session with Foreigner. That pretty much established what his threshold was for touring the Journey catalog and don't forget, the singing was done in original key, something else that has gone by the wayside now.
