It's not Journey, it's a different band named Journey and how is that possible?

It's confusing the websites like Amazon, because if you click on the Artist link it brings up the real Journey's catalog.

This seems to be the guy behind this: http://www.myspace.com/freespiritrecs

Here is some info on the album: http://www.psytwin.org/freespirit/index ... &Itemid=53

LOL -- great stuff!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkpT0VyDAJM

I'm surprised the real Journey doesn't have a boot up this guy's ass by now. I don't think he can legally use the name, even with the aka after it.

Journey has trademark for the name as to it pertains to other bands. This guy is not promoting it as a band name. It's more like a project and I'm not even sure it's based in the states, it could be overseas where he may have trademark for himself in that territory. Journey has a national trademark for the states but once you get overseas, different rules may apply. Same thing happens with albums. There is an album on the charts right now called Revelation but it isn't journey. Journey was actually the 10th artist to use the name Revelation for an album title. He's not intentionally misleading people. The link issue is the problem of the various vendors, not him.
