OT- Live at Daryl's House

This is some great stuff. Daryl is one of the greatest R&B/Soul singers ever and Todd hangs right with him. I've always liked Todd's stuff and he's a legendary producer, but I didn't realize he had THOSE pipes. The background harmonies are ridiculous.

Killer band also, Shawn Pelton is about as much of a groovemaster drummer as you can find. No wonder this show is so acclaimed.

Check out some of the previos episodes too. Excellent stuff.

This show/concept is FUCKING awesome! I am a HUGE Todd fan and posted this on the OT board a few weeks back, but Gunbot is the one who originally got me hooked on this about a year ago. Todd is amazing and so is Daryl. That rendition of "Wait for Me" is downright chilling. Hopefully a few more people see this now that you've posted it again.

Funny you happened to post this now, as I was listening to H&O for the first time in a few weeks right as I clicked on this forum.

"Daryl's house" is great, isn't it? I haven't even heard all the episodes yet but I haven't heard anything I didn't like. Such a soulful, comforting sound (I always have to listen with the headphones). Three singers that I think would fit right in here: Steve Perry, Van Morrison, David Pack...but, I also like the contrast of such different singers with Daryl. Just cool stuff!

The Monte Montgomery episode is incredible. He's a guitarist from Austin you NEED to check out!
