Interview with Gregg Rolie on Long Live Rock

Postby Rockwriter » Tue Feb 16, 2010 3:31 am

Hi:

Wanted to let everyone know that Gregg Rolie was our guest last night on Long Live Rock http://www.wewillrockyoublog.com/2010/0 ... live-rock/

We talked about a lot of stuff, including his most recent release from the Gregg Rolie Band 'Rain Dance Live'. We also talked about Santana and Journey, and specifically why Santana gets respect from critics and the RRHoF, while Journey does not. We also talked about the old "corporate rock" tag that has dogged Journey, and why rock critics misrepresent the band. Gregg also talked about Herbie Herbert.

Thanks!

I tried. I fell asleep at my desk at work while listening and the boss asked me what in the hell I was doing. Will try again tonight at home.

Global warming, it's a LIE.

What a great interview. Nothing but respect for his time in both Santana and Journey.

I clicked the link, but instead of listening to the interview, I read the one entitled 'Neal Schon Thinks Simon Cowell is Brilliant'. It was interesting to learn that Neal watches 'American Idol' - I don't believe many stars admit to that, but I wonder how many in the music industry actually do.
