NOW THATS AWESOME, I would love to see Neal live. Is this with his band? Or is it Neal by him self???

His band, from what I gathered. Like I said though, he said these dates were all he could promise right now and everything else would be dependent on what's going on after the Journey recording (and also probably the success of this leg of the tour I would assume)

thanks MATT...
ME thinks NEal alone in small intimate venue would be more entertaing and creative than him with another band.
Just my opinion.

I disagree Rick, I wanna see him with a band. Alone inevitably means acoustic. Neal can play great acoustic (see: Beyond the Thunder, several tracks), but he's an electric guitar player at heart! Definitely gotta have the band for full effect. He and his guitar will still be the focal pieces of any band show.

no way man... he could do electrical guitar to all the journey classics... and some voice material some I on U material... some
journey classic solos... his own solos... would be amazing... if I want to see Neal in a band... it should be with Journey or Santana...

I forgot about that... plus he promised instructional videos on his Web site in that Schon LP Demo video he had up a few years ago. He never followed through

You know, that would be cool if he did. A lot of great guitarists do the web teaching, Nils Lofgren comes to mind. Easy cash and tons of influence can be had. As much as I hate and despise Schon, it would interest me as a guitar player. He could play melodic, acoustic, crunchy rock, hard rock, whatever. Never said dude wasn't talented.
