After watching the recent Neal interview (excited to hear about Arnel's writing collaboration on the new album), I noticed this as one of the sidebar videos:

Something else -- thought the shots (a little shaky at times) and sound were decent, cool crowd pans:

Just curious why you say it is an embarrassing song?

My attraction is different then the typical. To me, I see him do these Journey classics and then it just trips me completely out when I get out my personal videos and watch him sing these same songs that were filmed 20+ years ago using my camcorder. To me it could be that watching the vids brings me back to that time, the times that I was actually right there on the same stage, and I can recall in great details how all this was, long before what it is now. Some things change like the way we looked, the styles that we wore, and the size of the venue, but then again, so many things remain intact and exactly the same throughout all these years that have passed. And watching these videos allows me to see all of these.

Starting from the top:

1. The title is embarrassingly faggoty no matter which way you slice it
2. It is painfully derivative of Lights, which is not a very good song in its own right, and in any case, has already been done
3. Vapid lyrics (admittedly a knock on many Journey songs, but a hook and originality make up for that)
4. No cognizable hook. The chorus is downright whiney sounding.
5. Gay piano plinking

For what it's worth, Arnel sounds awesome on the track. It's just a terrible song.

Sorry, I watched the wrong video. I didn't know there were two different vids here. I was looking at Pianoman1986's second video link and based my post on that specific song/video.

About that sunshower link, I don't know anything about it. It's not a song I particularily care for.

An okay song, not my favorite by any means.
