"Ask The Lonely" Music Video

Postby TRAGChick » Thu May 06, 2010 1:53 am

Hey, all.... 8)

I don't know if this has been posted, but this is a cool video - video clips from the F&B Doc edited to make a video for
Ask The Lonely" ~ which, IMO, is THE MOST UNDERRATED Journey song.

I liked how they edited the concert-lighting test with Jon Cain's arpeggios near the beginning of the song -
they timed it perfectly.

This song gives me energy, more than others.....MAN I'm so motivated to do stuff now!

Yeah, I loved it in concert last year. That and Only The Young really got the crowd going after Separate Ways..

This comment made me laugh  :

"Hey, I didn't know that Jeff Foxworthy played bass for journey? Check him out at 1:27 and 1:48. Wonder what made him switch to comedy? Perhaps a falling out with Steve Perry-LOL :) "

Definitely one of the most underrated Journey tunes. Also VERY difficult to sing.

I know; right?? :(

I gotta say.....this is, by far, the BEST "non Video" video for this song!

THANK GOD they decided to capture what they had & made the F&B Doc.
....and thank God there's YouTube.

Great tune, of the their best!. It is pretty tricky to sing, if we sing it like Perry, that's never going to be easy, and impossible. It's one of those songs that can zap the energy right outa ya. Steve Augeri did it LIVE at the begining of Sets, but! it was no where near the rang and vocal dynamics Perry does in the studio. This song LIVE is a killler!.

Yeah, this has to be one of my top three Journey songs. Love it to bits. Cain rules! Should definitely have been on Frontiers!
