The Essential Journey

Only 15 dollars at Target. For five dollars more , it is totally the better deal compared to Journey's Greatest Hits at 10 dollars.
And you still get the nice blue sticker with the band member names on it.

I think Walmart has a 3CD version of this in a digi for around $15...

Probably Sony's price if both stores have it at 15 dollars. The Greatest Hits has been selling like hot cakes at 10 dollars and become a staple on the BILLBOARD Album charts over the last few months.. Even if Journey is not touring this summer, Sony is definitely taking advantage of the renewed interest in Don't Stop Believin'.

It is essential to hear to understand why it was such a huge mistake to let Steve Perry back in the band.

It would be cool if Essentials got on the album chart again, even at #199. Journey's Greatest Hits has settled in nicely over the last few months, Sony probably figured what the hell, it's been easy money so far, lower the price on Essentials and see what happens.
