Andre Pessis (who has had hits with Huey Lewis, Bonnie Raitt, Mr. Big, and many more) has been a collaborator wIth Jon Cain on a couple of things.
He also helped write and compose one of Journey's best efforts since the departure of Perry.

A song seemingly made for Augeri, vocal wise. It doesn't require power house notes or anything else, it fits in with SA perfectly.

One of my all-time favorite tunes! Thanks Don, I haven't heard this one in a while. To me, this is the best song that Augeri ever did with the band. A very dark, moody and serious song that's very different than most of Journey's Library of tunes. I love it. Thanks.

i've always loved the songwriting combo of andre pessis & eric martin. andre seems to add just a pinch of bittersweetness to the flavor of his songs.

Looking at the Journey catalog post Perry, It seems like all the cool songs, those with a little bit of a different slant had outside writers.

I know that buoyed by Rev's success, Neal and Jon might not feel that they need that type of assistance any more but then again, when you look at that double album, half of it was older songs involving a third writer.

Ya I noticed a good portion of my favorite solo EM and Mr Big songs have been written by the two of them.....including my sig song. Great combo!
