I am tired of the song as side notes... but it is good for the guys pocket books...
I like the song itself though hearing it either listening with the escape CD or when I hear it on the radio... you turn it up loud and
listen to the song as it was meant to be heard... LOUD!!

By having their Greatest Hits under Sony's care, getting these songs onto T.V. shows is such a simple thing to accomplish. Sony Licensing is the first place these people go to when they want to use a song. A lot of groups buy their catalog back but sometimes that causes more hurdles for producers to make requests so less requests end up being made. Here, it's easy. Sony is part of the TV/Movie fabric. It wouldn't surprise me if they do a rough calculation on the amount of Journey's Greatest Hits packages being produced monthly on which type of License request recently passed through their department and how much they think it will impact sales based on the popularity of the show it was used on.

Of course it was. Do you think Perry is going to authorize use of the other version? Those re-records got Journey a great record deal but that's all they were good for. If they want to license out Arnel's versions of Faithfully or WITS , they MIGHT get some takers but everything else needs to go across the other guy's desk.

Dude, I meant Glee. I don't want the re-records used for anything, except for my own personal listening and in your case a coaster.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Glee was next year's Superbowl halftime act.

It's all good...I really don't try to be a jerk here....I am a Perry/Journey fan the two go hand in hand for me....it's not about dissing AP or any of the other singers....I am consistent if nothing else.

You see something I don't.....actually you are in a better place than me.

It's Journey....the band that Steve Perry quit. The mothership sails on. Too bad he's no longer on it. It was great while he was, but it's still great and I still enjoy it.

Well, the cabin boy on that mother ship is doing double duty, representing the U.S.S. Bon Jovi at the RP president's inauguration.

Sounds like treason to me.

Deen is big on tats....maybe it's rubbing off.

I think it's worse that the lead singer of Journey is covering BonJovi who is playing sold out arenas here and overseas.

I just look at the photo in Gunbot's signature line and then watch that YouTube....to me it's unbelievable where they were and what they have become.

I am not digging the tat on the Right Arm. it looks like melted chocolate or worse when he is moving his arm, yuck.

Image

The Kanji on the left is great but the right one looks like a burn victim here.

Really, if Schon wants to shed the soft rock image, Tattoos help, don't they? Just the choice of design is suspect here, as far I'm concerned.
