He does a great job on most of the songs, but his take on Open Arms was terrible! He's got a weird vibrato that doesn't work for that song. Not only that, I caught 2 or 3 mistakes in the lyrics just from checking the songs out briefly. He should learn the proper lyrics if he's going to be in a tribute band. :lol:

Other than that though, he (and most of the band) sounded great! There were times where I was thinking "DAMN I wish this guy was singing for Journey!". That was before I got to Open Arms. :shock: :lol:

Yes, his vibrato was different. Otherwise he has a lot of power and range.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Awesome! Pushing a little too hard and not as smooth as Perry, but I'd listen to him anytime.

Jim, that "vibrato" or quiver is a little irritating.
