Yes, I've heard this rumor. Dump Styx and add Heart and I'm good with it. :D

Heart is supposed to be touring with Def Leppard in 2011.

I think this is still in the rumor stages. I've not seen an official announcement yet.

Its NOT a rumor.
Confirmed to me today by a friend of mine who has it on his screen at work. He works as a manager at ticketmaster.

I heard rumblings about this last week. I think Live Nation is banking on it being like a classic rock nostalgia tour. If not one single song is played post 1990, management will be more than happy with it. Foreigner has toured the hell out of Europe. I see Styx as the weak link here.

I wonder if the three bands will be together for Journey's entire world tour?

Not sure Steveo, but it sure is a first for the UK and Europe.

I think Journey and Foreigner will go over quite well wherever they go, not sure, but I think Styx might be the turd in the punch bowl. ;)

Didn't Foreigner, Styx and Kansas do a small tour over there this past summer? Just swapping Kansas with Journey and keeping the train a rollin'.

This is laughable. Sorry to come in and piss on your parade, but another multiple act bill? I thought Journey was going to play big arenas all on their own? What happened to that idea? Also, three acts? Good luck hearing any new material from Journey. The set times have got to be limited to about 80-90 mins max. This is going to suck. Whoopie, we get to see the dirty dozen rushed yet again. I can't live without hearing those songs again. For the true Journey fan, this can't be exciting news.

And to the Styx downers. If any of you saw the Main Event tour, they kicked the living shit out of Journey. Styx can flat out bring it live.

I'm looking forward to Styx on this bill. Still a lot of energy to them.

Cool package. I'd go if that came to the States...

I guess, bottom line, my issue with it is 3 acts, one of which I'm not a big fan of anyway. How is Journey going to promote a new album, unless that's all they are gonna have time to play....new material? The business decisions just don't make any sense. Of course Azoff doesn't probably have to care too much.

It doesn't change anything for Journey. They always play an hour and a half, whether with two bands or just one additional. It will be the same like the Cheap Trick/Heart/Journey tour.

Oh, to fuck with certain people.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll go see the show if it comes near me. I'm just being a pessimist today.

Styx hasn't been playing short setlist like Cheap trick did and definitely not Foreigner.
It's Europe so it could be a different strategy from what they'll do in the states. Could be totally different opening act for Journey here.
All we know for certain is it won't be Heart.
We'll just have to see how it shakes out.

Not if it's set up to be co-headliners. Styx hasn't been playing short setlist like Cheap trick did and definitely not Foreigner.

This tour gonna be called

"Replacement lead singer tour"

Would much prefer a newer younger band opening.

I think this is a Europe only thing, maybe buoyed by how the Styx/Foreigner/Kansas tour fared this past summer.

Follow the money ...

I'm sure they've done the math from the past 5-6 years worth of tours, and this is the arrangement that is most likely to bring in the most people.

It's all good with me; I'll be there.

You're going to Europe, Fu Fu? Try and find one those "Assholes Fly Free" deals and take me with you.

As much as you travel, you're bound to have frequent flier miles ... Plus if you plan ahead and shop around, there are really good deals on airfare.

European fans know how to rock ... I'll definitely go if I can make it work with my work schedule.

I have 2 free flights, but they're for Southwest. But I'd sure like to meet many of the Europeans that I've spoken so highly of over the last few years.  I'll wait for the dates/details to come out. :)
