Finally got the new Two Fires Cd

Postby Abitaman » Wed Nov 10, 2010 1:08 am

I am a huge Kevin Chalfant fan here. So I was very ready to get my hands on this cd. Kevin's band sounded good, and the guitarist did a good job, just makes me wonder how it would have sounded with Josh or Neal (since there is "journey" song on here). Kevin sounds great.
But how great is the cd? Hard to say, I was dissaponited some (no Josh), but relieved some, a lot better production than the last two fires cd. The songs have a Journey feel to most of them, some even have me singing along (Is It Any wonder, Burning Bright). But how good, too early to tell after only one listen.

As mentioned by others, the song clips sound repetitious. I will check it out at some point. Loved the first Two Fires. Was tepid on the second.

Will say the sound clips have not done the final product justice. Most don't. I listened to the sound clips a couple times then never went back, liked the songs but not the sound of them.
