Andrew - What is your thought on Journey's tour partner(s) next Summer? When is the unauthorized Bio going to be released?

I say The Village People so Journey can be assured of closing!

Come to think of it remember VH1's old show "Bands Reunited"?

There's a whole slew of bands Journey could add to the bill that could open for them.

The Motels
Kajagoogoo
Berlin
Can't remember many more bands that were on that show. Lots of possibilities! :D

Boston is due to hit the road.

Boston and Kansas perhaps? That is sort of raged compared to Heart or Night Ranger. People would be begging for Journey to hit the stage already.

They do, or they won't play.

Boston is a viable opener option.

Didn't really care for them before their singer decided to have one last cookout. They better do better than that. Mr. Big would be perfect. So would Europe. :)

Are those both Frontline/Azoff Bands?

Mr Big and Journey would be great but Deen has said there would be two bands. At least it isn't Styx and Foreigner.

Mr. Big and Europe were both managed by none other than Herbie Herbert.

NO way would Fleetwood Mac open for Journey....however, come to think of it, maybe they could rotate.

I still say it should be Bryan Adams. They are a perfect fit...similar talent, similar music.

Kansas is dead boring, Boston is now shit, and REO, blech. If you attach any of those bands to a Journey bill, it will be a huge turn off, and it will draw a lot of laughter from critics...embarrassing. I thought they were going to go it alone? Isn't that what Schon was preaching? I guess he found out that wasn't possible.

Again, who the Hell wants to see Mr Big on the bill? They just don't have a following worth a damn. One recognizable song...no hits. Won't work. And I apologize in advance to Melissa and go fuck yourself Lynn, but Europe sucks. A Europe Journey pairing would be like Archie Bunker dating oprah Winfrey.

Only Mr Big fans, just as only Bryan Adams fans would want to see him. What following does he have? He can't even afford to take a full band on the road unless he hooks onto to a tour with a big act.

The Home Depot Guy needs to go....but then some love the Karaoke story...match made in HEAVEN!!

REO puts on a good show, say what you will about Cronin and his faggy asides.

Fleetwood Mac opening for Journey at this point is a hilarious proposition. I don't even see that being palatable if Perry were in the band!
