I don't know if the Perry story was started by the tabloid or someone else but Journey's offical site has been hit with such a blitzkreig of Perry fans, it causing a lot of angst. It's hilarious because without a forum everyone uses status updates and mini-blogs.
Now, the cray rumors are hitting the place like someone saying that a radio station is reporting that Neal is trying to contact Perry but Steve is not returning his calls.
Even without forums they might have to shutter that place for a while until this all blows over.

I was being a smartass actually I just remember a long while ago reading over there some girl on the forum there going on and on about how horrible MR is, and full of horrible people, etc. while proclaiming how wonderful and perfect everyone there is, and they all love each other, etc., quite cute and barfy!

Apparently Arnel set up the new site and a bunch of them didn't want to migrate and cried like babies about it, so they became divided and AP decided to let the old site stand as well. There is a class division of Pinoys and those two forums define the two types, the nice people and the gossipy, feuding back biters.

As with any start up "star," once the initial introductory period was up, people started jostling for position on Arnel's totem pole. Nobody wants to be at the bottom, everyone thinks they're the world's best fan and it got messy. It happened with Perry, Augeri and Pineda. MG is right ... pretty typical. I guess there are some facets of human nature/behavior that transcend race, gender and weight classes. Good post, SG (Stepford Girl).
