So, anyone know anything about this guy? Is he someone that JC discovered in Nashville?
Looks like he's done a lot of country work. I guess maybe the new Schon sitar sound is gonna have a little twang.

In Andrew's interview, Kevin Shirley says " 'Look, we've started mixing with somebody else'. And I said...'Ok'" So it does not appear that Shirley ever referred Journey to this guy as it states on his website. I'm wondering if this isn't someone that Friga met in Nashville and recommended to Neal. Although we won't know more until Andrew posts Part II of the interview, but it doesn't sound like things went very well during the recording process and Shirley was glad to have them out of his hair.

At this point I kinda hope this IS their last album... I've not really been impressed with much of their new music... and I'm ready to remember them in a good way, sans all the drama...

Definitely true, I remember standing in line behind Michael McDonald at the Memphis airport about 10 years ago and when a fan asked him what he was up to he said he was headed to his studio in Nashville. I wouldn't exactly call him a country act.

Thought for a second that his name was Klamusky. Nobody wants that.
