I’m in London to see Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck in a rare joint performance at the O2 Arena. I’m seated next to Neal Schon of Journey; Roger Taylor of Queen is down the row. Clapton’s solo set is completely uninspired – at one point, he looked at his wristwatch. There’s a buzz of excitement as Clapton and Beck finally appear together on stage, but the music doesn’t take off. Schon leaves before their set ends.

What can you say about such a class act?!?! :?

Perhaps he was worried about the onslaught of women?!?!

There has to more to it than that. Neal loves those guys. He must have been having a desperate potty moment or wanted to be the first one backstage.

I'm guessing he left to go backstage. He was seen hanging out with Beck and Brian May around that time.
