  I think I'd rather hear Jason Kelty than Arnel at this point. If Journey would have caught a show from that tribute band whilst on their search for a singer, we'd probably be hearing some amazing Journey songs right now that actually sounded like Journey! :D

Can you be more specific as to which countries? I'm assuming they'll visit Chile again and word has it their first tour of Brazil.

Those shows were probably conflicting with Arnel's Karaoke tour.

Classic!

I see they are playing at the O2 in June, of course they probably couldn't fill the restrooms by themselves.

Wouldn't be any different then when Arnel joined, considering Revelation was written before he even joined the band.

the question that begs to be answered is not why they are touring new countries, but why hasn't this been done before now. More fans, more concert tickets sold = more money, more albums sold = more money. Seems pretty simple to me.

Pretty good business plan, if you ask me. Pineda already has a pretty nice pad, now he just needs to tie down his retirement and he can go on helping people though his foundation. Another 2-3 years ought to do it.

Must they cross the Red Sea with Pharoah's Army in tow?

I love the haters who are bitter about Journey but still frequent message boards about them just to put them down. Hysterical.

Even more hysterical is they annually predict their downfall....and when they announce a multi-country world tour and new album they need to try to spin and find fault with that because they were 100% wrong about their downfall.

Bitter, ignorant losers who need to get a life.

Try taking your own advice.....

I don't play with steveo777's crystal ball that he uses constantly to "predict" the things of Steve Perry, so I don't predict "downfalls" as the others have been predicted "the greatest comeback in the history of rock n roll music" since 2008.

So strange how Steve Perry is dogged and demeaned in every unspeakable way, but yet "ignorant losers who need to get a life" pops up.

Have a Great day!

What are you talking about exactly? Steve Perry? Who said a damn thing about him? Sounds like I struck a nerve.

Calm down Eric!

The sense of humor and freedom of being able to discuss Journey any way you want it {pun} , is what makes this place more exciting than the Official Journey Forum ;). No haters , just bunch of Loons , Augerians, Sototarians and Arnelians having a good old time picking on eachother. ;)

The bitterness is well past the humor stage. What made this board great is the realistic conversation about Journey, which was a nice contrast to the cheerleader environment on the official board. But now in every thread someone has to say something ignorantly negative about the band. This thread wasn't really the place for it.

As mean as Dean-O may seem sometimes you'll notice that a lot of his posts still contain constructive information. Like when he pointed out that a few of the venues rumoured were too big for JUST them. That is not what I mean about negativity. Its the ignorant posts about county fairs, etc. I predicted a downfall for Journey after Soto was replaced, but I was wrong. And even if I think Soto would have been even better than Arnel and they still would have been as or more successful as they become you still have to see that they've done very well.
