I certainly disagree with this.I still like Out of Harm's Way and Faith in the Hearland off Gen. Revelation has some great songs: NWA, TDTWT, WIN, CFTB, WDILYL and even AATY. These are all really good songs that I can listen to over and over agian!! I think I will crank up some new Journey right now.

I tend to agree with you on this.

Technical arrangement aside, I have to call bullshit on this one. That song was played for the first time and spread around here like wildfire, and no one mentioned that is was a ripoff song. No one. It wasn't until someone noticed that the songs had the same arrangement that everyone piped in with, "Yeah, it does sound the same!"![]()
Not much different than Separate Ways and Message Of Love. Bands are gonna revisit the past every now and then. And that's ok. But you can't ripoff yourself.

I like this idea. Arnel hoisted and singing over the crowd, an actual stage with a theme (Carnival Of Sins by Motley Crue was really cool!), a pre-selected fan to help sing a song or .... anything new and different! They should also play clips of the new movie as a teaser and free promotion.

Journey would do well to just buy the rights and distribute the film themselves with the new release

Whuuuut? Please tell me it's a rockumentary and not some KISS saves the day at the carnival type deal. I'm having visuals of Journey meets Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Which, while hilarious, is also scary.

The new movie seems to have run into trouble again. The producer is pleading with people to signup for email, probably to show distributors that there is some type of market out there for it.
Journey would do well to just buy the rights and distribute the film themselves with the new release (though it may be too late for that already).
Three years in and the movie still can't backing even after the media heyday Journey had in 2009/10, it might be time to shoot that hound.

I'd respectfully submit the Journey/Arnel story has already been told - and quite well I might add.![]()
