Does anyone know if the band has ever been invited to appear on AI in the past? A nice endorsement for the band from former alumni, Randy Jackson wouldn't hurt, either.

They played DSB Hot Blooded, and Sister Christian and mentioned Live Nation about five times. The tour is definitely being sold as an 80s rock bonanza, NOT as a Journey tour with support acts. I doubt whether management gives a shit if the new record sells or not, as a long as concerts do and letting people know they are going to hear the hits will do that, not telling them that will have to sit through 4 or 5 new songs that the majority of them will have no interest in.
You know, I really don't know, but I'm sure they offerDon wrote:Perry was asked to be a guest judge, is there a difference between that and mentoring? I don't watch the show very often, if ever so I don't know how all of that works.

constructive criticism of some kind ...which would mean, you know mentoring...
I hope the J~boyz start smellin' the place up, then!!Don wrote:If Journey gets a sniff, I bet Perry either blocks it or comes on the show in place of them as a non-performing Judge.
That's how Uncle Stevie rolls.
