Human Feel single to be released in Latin America?

Postby RocknRoll » Tue Mar 22, 2011 1:44 pm

From the official Journey site. It looks like the band has a different idea on which songs should be released where. Hopefully, Frontiers will have this up on their web radio along with City of Hope!

March 21, 2011 - Digital Single Human Feel
Frontiers Records will be releasing the digital single, "Human Feel", from Journey's forthcoming album "Eclipse", in most Latin American countries, on April 4th.

Another mind-boggling decision. Chain Of Love, Resonate and Edge Of The Moment immediately come across as great Journey material and they're releasing Human Feel and City Of Hope? Who's picking the songs to release ... Perry?

I don't get this. I love Resonate or Chain of Love or Edge of the Moment for a single.

What say Andrew about Human Feel? I can't really remember what it sounded like now.

"Rise Up" is catchy as hell. Can't wait to hear the album version.

Drew says "Anything is Possible" sounds the most like classic Journey...I'd almost expect that to be the first single.

Okay. I forgot it had two names. Rise Up. I remember it now. I liked it. But I think Resonate would be a great first single, myself. That song stays in my head.

Haven't gone since the SA days. Eclipse has me pretty pumped. Might have to go to a show or two.

Good point!

I think from the fan's perspective, Journey has rarely picked the best songs as singles. The casual fans love the dirty dozen, and that's where a lot of the singles are. But the hard core fans tend to love the deeper album cuts that have never been singles. I'm hoping that's true now too, because look how good those 5 Eclipse songs we previewed are...can you imagine how great the deep album cuts are going to be if those 5 songs are the singles? 8)
