Sorry if this has been discussed already,
but I was wondering if anyone has heard if
the band planned anything special to celebrate
the 30th Anniversary of this epic release (July 31, 1981)?

No reason for that it's not the same band
The guys who were the engine of that band are still there, so you can kiss my ass. The transmission has been changed, but it's still Journey to me!

I imagine it will be similar to 2006 (25th anniversary). We got to hear a few extra tunes like Dead or Alive.
