No, but Herbie did - which means you are going to get more raw unvarnished truth than you would from Neal and Jon combined.

I'll take his word as the Journey Gospel.

I won't across the board. The majority of it I will because he was there through it all. But your experiences with people color your perception of them and certain events. He was, essentially, fired by Steve. That's affects his version of certain events because I'm sure he dislikes Steve. He loves Neal like a son and they're still very close. That can tend to color some of his memories, but not all of his memories. So I use common sense on some of his remarks, but still think he's a great source for band's history. For that reason, I will buy it. At least they have a source for someone who was there.

I hear ya, although he isn't 100% complimentary to even Neal.

True, nor Jon. I doubt he will censor his thoughts, LOL

Much like the truth behind the Kennedy Assassination......when all parties are dead and buried. Band members need to grow the fuck up. Seriously...

Not me. He's a good interview, but my god he's always come across to me as a asshole with am axe to grind. I get what he did for the band, but take a modesty pill Herbie ... or about two bottles worth. Always viewed him and Perry as a 'quiet, calculating asshole' vs. a 'loud loud, arrogant, sneering asshole' and don't have too much trouble believing that they wouldn't get along.
