Edge of the Moment
I really like this song. I am imagining it with the studio quality of City of Hope and Human Feel, and am thinking that it might be the best song on the album. Sounds like Deen is playing that unconventional bass drum/snare beat that he does in "Remember Me"
Sounds cool.

Love Neal's playing on this one...everything else is almost secondary. As Drew said, this is the stuff that mostly likely will scare Perryloons and housewives. Not typically Journey at all. Yet still very melodic.

Definitely my favorite song so far. Killer riff.

Arnel's last note is flat as HELL!

The song seems pretty cool, but I'm having a hard time feeling any big chorus with a hook here... I'll reserve judgement until I hear the album version.

I might be way off with these lyrics, but for fun, I tried.
EDGE OF THE MOMENT
Now this path turns into blue,
I miss your touch, in shadows amazing,
Sweet memories of holding you near,
In your eyes, anticipating,
Aaaah
One planet and two worlds collide,
Through the heat of constant breathing,
Melts away with me, there’s nothing else,
Time stands still in our arms together
On the edge of the moment,
Return to forever with you,
We made love for a lifetime,
Capture, surrender, be true,
I keep holding onto,
On the edge of the moment with you
Hey!
Letting go of all I knew,
No strings or vest, you would know me,
Nothing sustain, there’s nothing to lose,
You’re by my side, all that I wanted
On the edge of the moment,
Return to forever with you,
We made love for a lifetime,
Capture, surrender, be true,
I keep holding onto,
On the edge of the moment with you
Woah-oh, With you!

I hear the opening lines as "Blood red sky fades into blue"

With the exception of "Anything is Possible", I'm not sure we'll be getting much of that.

Have you heard the album?

it sounds like an atmospheric song, but it's hard to gleam much from that clip. The audio is pretty bad, but more importantly, I feel like the album version will have much more going on instrumentally. Doesn't sound like a song they can pull off live as well as they can in the studio. Not enough guitars to fill the sound. This was definitely a studio designed album.
I still think this is not an album of individual songs, rather an album experience. The hook everyone is looking for (might) be found when you listen to each song back to back in the album order.

Which is completely unlike Journey (masters of the big hook and chorus), and exactly why i am gonna dislike this release big time.
I want my big hooks and huge chorus.

This one sounds promising (I even like the title)...didn't care too much for the other two, but that happens with all albums.
