Damn, good find. I know these samples are brief, but I'm convinced that neither City Of Hope nor Human Feel are the best songs on the album. Not by a long shot.

This really pisses me off. Label and mgmt said NO more samples. Yet Amazon do whatever the fuck they like....and in doing so, put up really shitty quality 30 second samples that miss the actual hook of the songs. No effort whatsoever put into this.

Yeah, the choice for the clip of Chain Of Love in particular is terrible.

Yeah, the clips seem like lame parts of the songs.

It's probably the hardest album to grab clips from within to best define the songs. But why have me do it properly when Amazon can fuck it up for them.

Did they even pay attention when they did the clip for Resonate?

I'm really excited....I can't wait to hear all of "Someone". And yeah, poor choices for singles based on these clips. I hear a lot I like more than those two.

Wow. The sound is amazing. Edge of the Moment and Chain of Love I can't wait for. Arnel's voice sounds really great.

Agree, bad sample for Resonate, but it really is an interesting intro..

Is the last song, Venus, an instrumental or just a bad sample where there's no vocal on it?

I think Human Feel is a great single. Not so much City of Hope. There are better songs.

Well, maybe now management will let you put some better samples on MelodicRock of all the songs, since samples are out now.

Sure sounds like Journey to me. Shit job on the clips though.

Really? I thought that was a good clip.

Allow me to be negative?

First of all, they should always put clips of the chorus up to sample....that being said, I still hear nothing that would even remotely be catchy, or anthemic. Journey in name only....and that's just sad. Cause I will admit to Arnel having a strong voice, but beyond that - it is the City of Boredom for me.....

I'm starting to listen...

Vocal sound on Chain of Love sounds cool. Nice echo.

What the fuck is this Anything Is Possible sample? Sounds like it cuts off right at what sounds to be a big chorus. It's almost like a computer randomly extracts these samples from the music file.

Well, they should. It's good promo for the album. So a win-win.

Andrew, is Venus a instrumental or just a bad sample like Resonate with no vocals?

I bet it's a Neal showcase with no vocals.

That's the feeling I got from them also. It almost has to be something like that.

Agreed. And I'm especially curious to hear the entirety of She's A Mystery and To Whom It May Concern (the two songs Arnel co-wrote with his brother and Neal). I liked what I was hearing in the much too brief samples for those songs.

Also, Tantra sounds like the modern day Winds of March to me (or at least the soft parts of WoM).

a lot of the samples sound like the first 30 seconds of the song. Don't seem to do the songs justice most of the time. Maybe it will irritate the band enough to provoke true audio clips that properly show off the songs. One can only hope...

I think I'm more excited about this ablum now than I was after hearing the full versions of CoH and Human Feel. Cautiously optimistic, like any good Cleveland citizen would be about anything he is a fan of

You and me both Matt! I was a little worried after hearing those two songs, but I hear a TON of promise in these clips! :D I cannot WAIT to throw the actual album in my sound system. :D
