...and Hawaii and the Phillipines. I wonder if they'll follow some of the other bands and take another crack at China and maybe Inida. I did hear it was supposed to be something like 100-110 shows this year. I think Hawaii is usually at the end to give the crew a really nice vacation. I wonder if I can get a job!!

My wife found out about this show being on one of her nights off. Begged me to buy tickets, so I told her I would on the condition that we're not staying for an encore, and the possibility of even leaving before they finish their full set.
If it were up to me I would gladly watch Night Ranger and Foreigner and bolt. Marriage is about compromise!
After seeing what Foreigner can do acoustically a couple of weeks ago. I know they are going to be great. Hansen was FANTASTIC live. So I'm happy I'll get to see NR and Foreigner AND beat the traffic, unless of course Journey plays too much Eclipse stuff!

Fixed. I copied that list from Pollstar, so I don't know how two Hartford dates popped up...

I can't see Journey until they hit Washington state. I sure hope they aren't too road ripe by then.

They've been road ripe since '07....

They better be careful they don't burn AP out... SP was averaging 100 shows per year during his '79 (Infinity) - '82 (Frontiers) run... They're hitting 70 shows plus a year already.. and AP was 41 when he joined... not 30... the age SP was in 1979....

By the time they hit my closest venue on 9/18, it'll be their 3rd night in a row....

You mean the second stringers that made the band huge and either played multiple nights or stadiums? Is that what you meant you retarded troll?

If you were joking it's still a sign of moderate retardation.

08/21/11 Charlotte, NC - Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
08/23/11 Samothraki, Greece - Aurora Festival at Samothraki Island

Damn. They'll have multiple sets of equipment going in different directions to pull this off. That's a lot of careful scheduling to have everything in place for shows that close together calendarwise and that far apart in distance. Not to mention the exhaustion those guys are going to feel from that kind of travel, with customs and all that crap to contend with.

Showing two dates on Wheatland CA (Sacramento) also - 10/5 & 10/14. That would be a surprise to me also. They do sell well in the area, but I don't think they are going to fill the amphitheater twice.

Fixed. The one on the 5th should be in Concord. Same amphitheater name. Must have confused Pollstar.

Special Needs? In your case, I think the proper term Is retardation. Journey's not even a true rock band, they're closer to pop than rock when looking at their work as a whole.
Great band? Sure.
Best ROCK band ever? Only if you live in a one band world and even then, it would be debatable.
