I believe I called this a few months back, about Sony benefiting from Journey touring Latin America without a tangible, new product to offer. All three songs now in iTunes top 100 Rock songs.
To all those who thought a harsh, change in direction with Eclipse would bury this band, as long as Journey can produce the dirty dozen every night, they don't need to sell one single new album or song.
As a touring band, Journey's back catalog is their golden ticket until Arnel's voice wears out, it's money in the bank.
For those of us who wanted something a bit different, Eclipse may be it; for the rest of the folk, Journey can continue to keep truckin' on with the dirty dozen, just like Foreigner, Bon Jovi, U2 and all the rest of the great '80s acts.
