Special journey 'sites'

Postby Monker » Fri May 06, 2011 1:05 pm

Ok, here's an oddball question...

A friend of mine is putting together a musical 'scavenger hunt' and asked me to gather some Journey ones. What they do is go about on motorcycles on take a picture by the 'site' with their motorcycle. Ok, something I wouldn't get into but it takes all types I spose.

So, does anybody have any suggestions? It needs to be specirfic enough to take a pic.

Here are my thoughts...but I don't know the specifics site of these:

The Bill Graham Tribute in Golden Gate Park....but WHERE in the park was the stage?
Does anybody have addresses to Nocturn or Nightmare?
How about Perry's high school? Any other HS's we know about?
Do we know specifically where Perry won that 'Battle of the Bands" trophy in the ROR doc?
What stadium in Houston was the MTV Escape concert performed?
What stadium in NC had the bottle throwing incident from the F&B video?
Where was Gregg's last concert with Journey?
I know Journey's first concert was in Hawaii...but where was the first in the other 48?
I know ROR's last concert was in Alaska, what about the last in the other 48?
Does the Hard Rock in SF still have the Journey display over the bar? I heard they took it down a while back.

Any other speicific sites that have any significance to Journey (or Perry) fans would do fine.

Here's an old link to previous Journey tours that will help with a lot of your questions. Rolie's last show was Oct 13, 1980 at Koseinenkin Hall, Shinjyuku. Tokyo, Japan

Houston's MTV show was at the Summit.
I believe the bottle throwing incident was at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.

That is a question that cannot be answered. The incident in NC happened in Greensboro on the ROR tour, and was a bracelet. The Frontiers tour incident, which may have been a bottle, was somewhere else and not in NC.

The bottle throwing incident was at the Meadowlands during the Frontiers tour.
