Folks --
tune in tonight for Katie Couric's final broadcast as anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News (6:30pm ET). At the end of the broadcast, a look back at some of her most memorable stories are part of a montage featuring 3 Journey songs off Eclipse!!!

More Journey/CBS News coming soon. Keep checking Andrew's main page.

Tried playing the clip but my iPhone4 doesn't support Flash. Man, I can't catch a break lately. Broke down and tried 2 Walmarts tonight. Couldn't even get an employee to bother looking.

I think it was a total of 20 seconds for all the songs combined that were really audible. Let's just say that no one is going to associate those short bursts with Journey. I don't even recall any obvious vocals (they may have been there real low, under the dialog), just little snippets of bumper music within a video segment of various clips. I thought I missed something but apparently not. There is nothing mentioning Journey or Eclipse, it's just parts of the clip's soundtrack.

Still a nice effort to get it out there, just not the 'World Premiere' many fans might have envisioned upon reading the thread title.

Yeah, she really set up Palin. Pretty tacky and guerilla-warfare of her to ask her which periodicals she "read".

I never liked her, though.

From the looks of her face, gravel's not going to faze her.

She has a much younger boyfriend. I think she's in her fifties, and he's in his thirties. So she's doing something right.
