I don't understand,since Perry has been gone they don't do self titled album songs anymore.. Eclipse,should have an Eclipse song on it,just like Escape,Frontiers,Raised on radio,TBF.. What gives.. Those were all excellent songs..

While I certainly agree that I miss having songs like that in the band's music, I feel the need to point out that the correct term is "title track".

I'm the opposite. Loved Raised on Radio and the references to those old songs. Trial By Fire bored the crap out of me.

Infinity, Evolution, and Capture don't have self named songs either...

Wow, you are the first person I've heard who said they like the song Trial by Fire. I think that song is awesome. Took awhile to love it though.

Eclipse would have been killer for a tune.. I can't believe with an opportunity like that,they wouldn't take it.. I bet Its something Perry pushed for and they are staying away from it.. Stupid..

TBF was a beautiful song.. Loved his voice on it.. Why can't the newer Journey albums have that good of production on them?

It's perfect, actually. Love the melody, love Steve's vocal delivery, emotional but understated, and Neal's playing is so melancholy to fit the mood of the song. I love it when Neal plays like this.

The sound of the song almost sounds like its going backwards.. That's the part I really like..

Is is just coinsidence that Journey has now 2 albums named the same as Yngwie Malmsteen ?
