Those songs weren't on Generations, but bar it anyway.

I said barring, like in not counting Generations because it was pretty bad.. I'm talking about Revelations rocket scientist.

And Wildest Dreams is a terrible song.. The lyrics were terrible, the refrain was terrible.. Never Walk Away was also atrocious.. No substance to either song..

I HATE "Wildest Dreams". Always have, live or studio. On the other hand, I LOVE "Never Walk Away".

I understood what you were saying, I will have to listen to them again to respond to your "absolutely hating" them.

Wildest Dream is great, IMHO. Never Walk Away? Not so much.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

The back and forth of the chorus sounds like something you would hear at a circus

I don't particularly care for Wildest Dreams either. It just sounds forced, especially in the chorus. Never Walk Away is solid enough, although derivative.
